Welcome to Simonton Lake!

This is the official website of the Simonton Lake Area Homeowners Association.  Simonton Lake is located in northern Indiana and is the largest natural lake in Elkhart County.  It was named in honor of Samuel Simonton in the 1800’s.  

The mission of the association is to foster the safety and quality of life in our neighborhood. We strive to protect the value of our homes, the wildlife and the environment surrounding our lake, support local and state law enforcement for the safety of our families and lake visitors, and encourage active involvement in the northern Elkhart, Indiana area growth and development.

Elkhart County Burning Regulations

This time of year, many of us are burning leaves.  Because we live in Elkhart County, we can burn our leaves.  But, being allowed to burn does not mean you can burn anything you want, anytime.  If you assume this, you may be ticketed.

Drainage Issue on North Shore Drive

About two years ago, residents of North Shore Drive who live across from Seller’s Woods, brought to the attention of the Simonton Lake Conservancy, a problem with drainage.
