New to the Lake?

  • Let us know you’ve moved in. We’ll send you a New Neighbor Gift Bag!

  • Join the Simonton Lake Area Homeowners’ Association. You’ll find a membership form in your gift bag.

  • Read the Indiana DNR Boating Manual. Use this link to the DNR to learn more.

  • Putting in a pier? Make sure you know the rules for piers. Check this out at the Indiana DNR website.

  • Are you hooked up to the Simonton Lake Sewer? If you are, you’ll have a grinder pump in your yard. Make sure your name is now on the account. Call the Conservancy Office at 574-206-8485.

  • Water quality is something we all must protect. Don’t blow yard waste or leaves into the lake.

  • Be careful about using fertilizer near the water.

  • Don’t feed the geese, ducks or swans.  When they get food from us, additional waterfowl who visit our lake will stay because it appears that there is plenty of food.

  • Read the quarterly “Simonton Says” magazine to keep up with what is happening at the lake.
