Monthly Bikerides are Back

  • For the past two summers Simonton Lake residents have drug out their trusty bicycles and participated in the monthly BikeElkhart recreational rides.  These rides are typically on the first Tuesday of the month and finish at an area restaurant that serves adult beverages.
     
  • There is no charge to participants.  There are always two groups, one taking a six to ten mile loop and another following a twelve to fifteen mile course.  Riders in both groups ride at a relaxed pace.  This is NOT a race! This is about enjoying a scenic, leisurely ride.
     
  • All rides begin at 6:00 PM.  Fortunately for Simonton Lake residents, the season kicks off once again at Pete’s Simonton Lake Tavern.  

    The schedule is as follows:
     
    • May 02 | Pete’s Simonton Lake Tavern
    • June 06 | Iechyd Da Brewing Company
    • July 11 | Hunters Bar (Meet at Sterling Park, corner of Sterling and Indiana Ave.)
    • August 01 | Hacienda
       
  • If you haven’t previously participated, grab your neighbors and enjoy the ride with others from the lake.
